UI/UX design
Good design is mostly clarity: people should know where they are, what they can do and what happens next. I design interfaces that are simple to use and straightforward to build.
fig. 03From a rough layout to a settled screen
Wireframes settle structure first, so colour and type decisions come later and cost less.
§ 1Who it is for
Who this is for.
- Businesses planning a new site or app who want to settle the design before building
- Products with confusing screens, low sign-ups or too many support questions
- Founders who need consistent screens and components to hand to a developer
§ 2Deliverables
What you get.
- User flows and wireframes for the key journeys
- Visual design for the agreed screens, in desktop and mobile sizes
- A small design system: colours, type, spacing and components
- Accessibility check against WCAG 2.2 AA basics (contrast, focus, labels, structure)
Typical work
- Redesign a confusing enquiry or checkout flow
- Design an admin dashboard for an internal tool
- Usability review of an existing site with a prioritised fix list
- Brand-consistent layouts for a new website
§ 3How it runs
How it runs.
A decision point at every step.
Discovery: users, goals and constraints
Flows and wireframes for review
Visual design and revisions within the agreed rounds
Handoff of files and notes, or build it myself
§ 4From you
What I need from you.
- The goal of the screen or flow: who uses it and what they should finish doing
- Anything that already exists: screenshots, a current site, brand colours, a logo file
- Real content or a fair sample of it, since lorem ipsum hides layout problems
- Quick answers to questions during the design rounds
§ 5Cost
What it costs.
Scoped per project
There is no price list, because two businesses never need the same thing. After a short call you get a written quote within one working day: what is included, milestones, timeline and payment schedule. Nothing starts until you approve it.
Ask for a quote§ 6Tools and limits
Tools and boundaries.
Tools I typically use
- Figma-style design tools
- Design tokens
- Accessibility checklists
- Prototypes in code when useful
Not included
- Logo and full brand identity design are not part of the standard scope.
- User research with large panels is not offered; research is lightweight and practical.
§ 7Questions
Questions about this service.
Do you design logos and brand identities?
Not as a standard service. I work with the brand you have and build a small, consistent system of colour, type and components around it.
Can you design and then build it?
Yes, and it is usually faster because the same person does both. You can also take the files and hand them to any developer.
How many revisions are included?
The number of rounds is written in the scope. Feedback inside the agreed rounds is included.
Do you check accessibility?
Yes: contrast, focus order, labels, structure and touch-target size, against WCAG 2.2 AA basics. It is a check of the design, not a legal certificate.
The other parts of the machine
Business automation and custom software
Workflows, integrations, WhatsApp and messaging automation, and reporting that replaces repeated manual work.
02Website development
Fast, mobile-first websites and web apps that load quickly, rank properly and are easy to maintain.
04IT consulting, support and maintenance
Practical advice on tools and systems, plus ongoing support and maintenance of the software I build or inherit.
